10 Foods That Should Try While In Indonesia


As knowledge, Indonesia consists of 7 large islands and thousands of smaller islands.
7 the great island consists of Sumatra, Java, kalimantan, bali, sulawesi, lombok and papua.
This time, I will be reviewing the famous foods from various regions. 
Because I come from Java, most food which I will review have differing from Java.

1. Satay or Sate






This is one of my favorites. Indonesian Satay there are generally 2 kinds. Satay chicken and goat Satay. Sate some sort of food from meat in slices with bamboo skewers then on and burned with a certain seasoning. Once cooked, usually served with soy as well with peanuts.

special food from East Java. This Indonesia favorite food ingredients are ground beef combined with Kluwek.
Kluwek itself is a kind of lumpy gravy made from a variety of herbs and spices that makethe taste become unique.
Kluwek is an ingredient that makes the soup rawon became more concentrated black. Kluwek are generally made of leeks, onion, coriander and also other traditional ingredients.

4.Gudeg







This is special. Gudeg is derived from Yogyakarta. This food are combination of coconut milk and brown sugar. Made with basic ingredients young jackfruit.

5. Rendang







Favorite food originating from Indonesia next is rendang, from Padang, Sumatera.
Typical foods that have a strong flavor is made from meat that comes with a variety of spices, such as coriander, turmeric, laos and some other rempa.
Rendang itself is the most popular specialties that are very much consumer demand. So it's not wrong if there are many sellers rendang in Indonesia.
Food that comes from the desert has the soft flesh. As well as having a thick gravy beef rendang are suitable when combined with rice that is still warm.

6. Lawar Kuwir







kuwir is a species of geese that resemble chicken.
